Anyone engaged in the teaching and examination of the Chinese language in the government and private school systems, in ethnic schools and in technical and tertiary education institutions as well as students undertaking studies to become Chinese teachers in Western Australia is eligible for full membership of the CLTAWA.
New Members:
New members joining at the beginning of the school year (from 1 February) will receive a bonus membership period. Their membership will be valid until 31 March of the following year.
Existing Members:
Existing members can extend their membership at any time, with one year added to their current membership.
To become a member or to renew your existing membership, please pay the appropriate membership fee and complete the online application , ensuring you include your payment receipt number.
Important Notice: CLTAWA has updated its banking details. Effective immediately, we kindly ask all our members to use our new bank account for any payments or transactions. You will find the new bank details during the online application process. To ensure a smooth transition, our previous bank account will remain active until the end of this year.
Joint membership of the CLTAWA and Modern Language Teachers Assocation of WA (MLTAWA) is also encouraged. Please go directly to the MLTAWA website and complete the online registration and select CLTAWA as the single language association you would like to be aligned too.
